The main purpose of this article is to present Kazakhstan's experience of psychological and pedagogical support in institutions of higher education of people with disabilities. The relevance of the study is characterized by a growing interest in the Republic of Kazakhstan to the problem of preparation for the professional work of people with developmental disabilities and handicapped. This becomes especially important in connection with the ratification by the Republic of Kazakhstan 22 February 2015 Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, according to which States parties should ensure that people with disabilities are able to access general tertiary education, vocational training, adult education and training for a life without discrimination and on an equal footing with others.ru_RU
