Abstract

The possibility of access to information in convenient time, often without separation from the current work, and studying in an individual order has great importance in development of a new profession. The platform for distance learning acts as the exit in that case. Development prerequisites, the importance and advantages of distance learning in additional education are considered in this article on the example of experience of Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, Institute of Information Technologies.
