Abstract: Silver nanostructures have been formed on the surface of porous silicon by immersion deposition. Silver has been found to form a quasi-continuous film composed of nanoparticles with sizes varying in the range of 100–500 nm which are located at the distance less than 10 nm from each other. The CVD method has been applied for the synthesis of graphene. The Ag/porous silicon samples have been covered with graphene by wet chemical transfer. Resulting substrates demonstrate an improved activity in the surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy for detection of low concentrations of organic molecules in comparison with the graphene-free Ag/porous silicon.
