Abstract. The aim of this work was the justification for the criteria information-entropic analysis of prediction of individual educational route in terms of continuing education in preparing future specialists in the area of information technologies (IT) at the Technical University. Prospective design of individual educational route of the future specialists in the IT-area that allows their professional identity. A significant increase in management effectiveness of individual educational route of future IT- specialties in modern Technical University in terms of the concept of continuing professional education can be achieved through the use of models and methods of information-entropy analysis, and numerical simulation with application of technologies of processing large amounts of data Big Data. The criteria and approaches of information and entropy analysis may be used to predict and control the formation of individual educational route of future IT-specialists on the basis of a set of professional competences of IT-specialists, and also to predict professional reliability and efficiency of the IT-staff at change of functional responsibilities in an unstable business climate.
