Abstract

The importance of document management tools in distant learning systems is very high. The most popular among such tools is Microsoft Office, which provide COM API for extension modules that can make distant learning more comfortable. However, some issues exist here, e.g. lack of possibility of cross- module communication and sharing services across all modules. Solving these issues is of high priority in order to develop and use the system of extension modules efficiently.
