Motion analysis is a useful diagnostic tool in clinical practice, as well as in research applications. The objective of the research was to develop method for measurement of spatial hand motion. We used single digital camera and employed flat mirror to achieve view of hand from two points. Colored labels were attached to fingers to facilitate tracking. We developed an algorithm for reconstruction of spatial coordinates from obtained images. The method was successfully tested on the patients with Parkinson’s disease for measurement of motion speed while testing for hypokinesia (finger-to-thumb tapping as fast as possible).ru_RU
