dc.description.abstractWe describe fabrication of ultrathin (3–4 nm thick) sol-gel derived titania films undoped and doped with erbium on silicon. The erbium-doped films reveal room temperature photoluminescence with maximum at 1546 nm after annealing at 1000 °C.ru_RU
