dc.description.abstractA fully automatic seeded region growing algorithm for image segmentation based on quasi-parallel wave growing of regions around local extrema with a gradual change in the brightness threshold from the extremum value was proposed. Unlike well-known segmentation algorithms, the proposed algorithm allows to separate areas with smooth differences in brightness, and control the number of segments sufficient to approximate images and compactly describe their segments.ru_RU
