Abstract

The article is focused on the main stages of formation and features of development of Belarusian national movement during the First World War. The article shows the conditions of struggle for national statehood, methods to achieve the goals and demonstration of patriotism in an effort to defend national interests. The publication contains a description of activities of political parties and individual leaders whose names we associate with the the results of struggle on the way to Belarusian national statehood.
