Abstract: This paper examines the problem of memory safety in systems programming and analyzes the evolution of approaches to addressing it in modern programming languages. A comparative study of memory management models and protection mechanisms implemented in Rust, Go, and modern C++ is conducted in terms of reliability, performance, and vulnerability prevention.
