Abstract: This paper analyzes models and tools for automating quality control in educational assessment. It reviews rule-based systems, machine learning, and natural language processing approaches, and examines LMS-integrated solutions and their effectiveness. Key challenges include algorithmic bias, assessing creative work, and ensuring transparency. The study shows that hybrid approaches combining automated assessment with human oversight provide the most effective and reliable results for modern higher education systems.
