| Abstract: | The article deals with the advantages and disadvantages of the system of distance education. The main problem is low completion rate of distance courses caused by low motivation of the learners. The effectiveness of distance education is determined by the use of teaching technologies which the education is based on. In the article the methods of positive and negative methods of motivation are considered. |
