Abstract: Mineral radon bearing underground waters are in the radon therapy which is one of types of a physibalneotherapy, mechanisms of biological and medical effect are related with influence of small doses of alpha radiation of radon and its daughter products on the nervous, vascular and immune systems of skin and mucous membranes that as a result of raising protective and adaptive of an organism to resist against pathological influences. The studied water intake consists of 4 wells and is located on a site of the sanatorium named Radon. The content of radon in underground waters was changed in 1991 from 15 to 85 nCu/dm3. Investigations of the radon content in underground water was repeated in 2015. It revealed that there is a drawdown of operational stocks of mineral radon waters and a reduction of the radon content in underground waters till 15-55 nCu/dm3. Recommendations on carrying out a monitoring of radon underground waters and their rational use are developed.
