Использование полисомнографии у пациентов боковым амиотрофическим склерозом

Abstract

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a neurodegenerative disease where motor neurons within the brain and spinal cord are lost, leading to paralysis and death. Although the aetiology of sporadic ALS is largely unknown, familial and epidemiological data indicate that genetic factors contribute to its pathogenesis. We investigate of possibility of night polysomnography in patients with ALS. We reveal respiratory impairment and determing paroxysmal nocturnal hypoventilation in patients with ALS. Using night polysomnography is important for early diagnostic of the respiratory impairment in ALS patient.
