Abstract: Magnetic properties of the individual layers of MoS2, WS2, WSe2, MoSe2 upon substitution of metal atoms by manganese ones are studied. The magnetic moments on the impurity atoms and the possibility of appearance of sustainable magnetic order are evaluated.
