| Abstract: | This paper deals with the problems of modern higher education. Based on the study of such basic topics as the derivative, definite and indefinite integrals and differential equations, it is shown what difficulties students experience in this case, and how, together with the teachers of the Department of Higher Mathematics, they try to overcome them. The work highlights the history of the emergence of these topics, as well as the breadth of use of their various applications. |
