| Abstract: | Recently, blockchain has been used in various fields, such as cryptocurrencies, digital asset management, cybersecurity
improvement and smart contracts. Due to its principles of operation, including decentralisation, reliability and transparency, blockchain is
becoming increasingly popular and various organisations are studying this technology and applying it in their activities. The article analyses
the disadvantages and prospects of introducing blockchain into modern IT systems, and how the blockchain has evolved in recent years. |
