Abstract: This article shows how virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technologies can affect the engineering learning process. It explains the main benefits of integrating these technologies into the educational process and some potential problems. Special attention is paid to the engaging, safety and practical experience that VR and AR can provide.
