Abstract

Traction treatment refers to the category of the most effective methods of therapeutic effects on the spine. Traction treatment is aimed at the removal of muscle spasm, reducing intradiscal pressure, reduction of disc protrusion, the elimination of pathological pain impulses from the spinal motor segment. Simultaneously with the traction under the roller-massagers the elements of manual therapy appear: local stretching of the spine, correcting of the existing distortions and consequently disappears the squeezing of nerve endings along the spine, normalizes the function of the respiratory, nervous and cardiovascular systems.
