Alternative abstract: The relevance o f the development o f technical systems designed to monitor the physical condition o f vehicle drivers, operators o f technological equipment and personnel o f critical information objects and blocking access to hardware and software controls o f these objects in cases where it is established that their health indicators deviate from the norm, including being under the influence o f alcohol is argued. The process o f absorption, distribution and excretion o f alcohol from the human body is analyzed. It has been shown that, due to the volatility o f alcohol, it is possible to determine its concentration in the blood by analysing deep alveolar air. The coefficients fo r converting the concentration o f alcohol in deep alveolar air into the concentration o f alcohol in the blood, adopted by the legislation o f different countries, are given. The basic requirements fo r breath analyzers fo r alcohol, providing the necessary evidence o f the examination results, including reliability, documentation and dating o f the results are formulated. The use o f an electrochemical sensor as the basis o f the developed system is substantiated and the principle o f its operation is described. A block diagram o f the developed system fo r remote monitoring and control o f mobile and stationary> objects and controlling the blood alcohol content o f the personnel o f these objects is presented. The system is based on the developed integrated circuit, controlled by a program module written in the object-oriented programming language C++. The proposed system can be installed in any vehicles and stationary* facilities and allows to monitor the level o f alcohol in the blood o f drivers and personnel o f these f acilities, to block control if the driver/operator is intoxicated and report this to law enforcement agencies and/or the management o f the enterprise. The system also monitors the speed, location and movement o f moving objects in real time, notifies drivers about the situation on the route, based on information received from other controlled objects, and allows operators to control remote objects. Protecting measures against driver/operator actions aimed to falsify the results o f a blood alcohol test have been proposed.
