| Abstract: | В статье раскрывается проблема повышения качества обучения иностранному языку студентов технического университета. Авторы анализируют научные подходы к трактовке понятия «качество обучения», определяют преграды на пути обеспечения качественного преподавания иностранного языка будущим специалистам технической сферы. Акцентируют внимание на факторах повышения качества обучения иностранному языку будущих инженеров и программистов в условиях цифровой революции: выявление базового уровня знаний первокурсников технического университета по иностранному языку; усиление практикоориентированности содержания дисциплины «Иностранный язык»; создание условий для повышения профессиональной компетентности преподавателей; использование в образовательном процессе университета инновационного педагогического опыта; разработка программ обучения иностранному языку на основе системного применения современных образовательных технологий. |
| Alternative abstract: | The article reveals the problem of improving the quality of teaching a foreign language to students of a technical university. The authors analyze scientific approaches to the interpretation of the concept of «quality of education», identify obstacles to providing high-quality teaching of a foreign language to future specialists in the technical field. They focus on the factors of improving the quality of foreign language teaching for future engineers and programmers in the context of the digital revolution: identifying the basic level of knowledge of first-year technical university students in a foreign language; strengthening the practice-oriented content of the discipline «Foreign language»; creating conditions for improving the professional competence of teachers; using innovative pedagogical experience in the educational process of the university; developing foreign language teaching programs based on the systematic application of modem educational technologies.
